Villa Zografos - Iraklia

Between the Port and Chora in the secluded area, by a Hillside with a View to the horizon over the open sea, Yannis and Evi have erected Villa ZOGRAFOS, their home. In their garden they have built 5 double rooms and one apartment (3/4 people), which can be put to good use by people who adore quiet and are nature lovers.

All the rooms have shower, fridge, verandah with sea view and the islands of Schinoussa and Koufonissi opposite. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furtnished.
In the communal flower garden you will our barbecue area, which has been terraced with stone parapets.

Villa ZOGRAFOS, as well as being an agreeable place to stay even offers breakfast, communal telephone services, ample parking and free transportation to and from the port (1.5 km).

The beach of Livadi can be reached on foot within 5 minutes.

Daily boat services link Iraklia with Naxos, Amorgos adn the remainder of the small Cyclades, as well, on certain days of the week, directly with Piraeus-Athens.

Iraklia is the southern most island of the Small Cyclades, south of the Naxos' southern tip. Rich in natural beauty, with its own relaxed rhythm, far from wordly protects and the noisy ways of modern civilisation. One road only connects its two settlements of St. George and the Port of Panagia (Our Lady) which is built at the foot of Mount Pappas.

The best way to get to know Iraklia is on foot. The road and the footpath which run through the middle of te island will lead you to unspoilt beaches with crystal clear water, the castle ruins of Iraklia or the Cave of Saint John, one of the most beautiful caves in Hellas, and one hour walking distance from Chora.

The best known beach is Livadi, a magical sandy beach, which is surrounded by natural bushland. Saint George is also found very near to Livadi.
